Black billowing smoke, the worlds on fire
the blood-soaked soil is encrusted with rage
a new sense of pride, to be a liar
madness has come to reveal its face
yet, life goes on as lovers embrace
while the curtain has parted, everyone's on stage
actors cry out, no one will listen
ears are impervious to angry sound
the players have weapons, they seek submission
to create their scenes of turmoil and fears
generations will pass and write of these years
graveyards with statues where flowers abound
