~block~

I am new Yet I have a question That involves the art of writing You see I've wrote stories and poems for quite a while now But I am afraid to say There is a block in my way I do not rhyme, I just write But now it's been two years since my last decent story I ask for some help From the talented poets How do you kill a block?

I can only speak for me but I recently had reached a point where I was tired of things I wrote about - What I did is started reading the other gifted poets on this site a lot - I'm the opposite of you I rhyme everything - I say reading because reading opens up the mind - God Bless

Believe it or not I write like this all the time.Its up to poetry soup to place on there,but are pure exercise you know like athletes who practice for sports.dont make DONT MAKE FUN OF THIS.

Kill a block? What I do is close my eyes, then let words just come out, yes, sometimes loud, but then I write them down and it all follows from there. Give it a try, think of a subject, close your eyes and start saying what you want to say. You expressed yourself clearly here, so I don't think there will be much of a problem. Welcome to the Soup!
