I missed this one. Some say the Sphinx winks. That is absurd, me thinks. Love this one, dear. Love, Dave

Excellent poem in it's own right Carolyn, I at one time had 13 poems that were close in for first place, yours was in the running, but I settled for the two. This is the reason I have so many 2nt places.

Hi Carolyn. Thanking you deeply for your faith in my efforts. I like the idea behind this. For evil to thrive, good men must do nothing.( I do not think the word are right but you get the idea) To you fair one success with this. Eamon

Nicely written, Carolyn! Do love your last line! "Bin Laden" also exists in the German Language: Ich bin = I am and "Laden" is either store or also "loading" as a nound. Very witty! And best of luck in John's contest! Love, Gert
