Blind Faith (Limeric)

Faith is like radar that sees through the fog
When faith is forced by reason agog
When it becomes blind it dies
It is like a bird that feels
Light in dark dawn still defog.

In faith there is enough light
For those who want to believe it
But for those who don’t believe
Enough shadows to blind the eye
I for one like the colour of the Dwait.

========================

For contest : Blind Faith
Dwait (In Hindu mythology) means you can reach God thro’ a Guru (Master). Master can be
anyone in your life, but generally it is the mother.

Without our faith, what do we have ? I honor people who protect the importance of their faith, how smart they are. Powerful poem Dr.

We all need an earthly person to lead us as a child to help us develop our greatest potential...So many children don't have that today...Keep the creative pen flowing..Sara

True in a sense, people who don't believe in certain things can't always see how others can.

Faith is a very important part of our lives. Without it, we can never achieve happiness and share our feelings. Beautiful writing:)

This is excellent. Faith is the evidence of things unseen. I like this poem on faith. It's like seeing through the third eye of the chakras. Keep writing. Blessings, Joseph

Interesting perspective. Yes, there is light in faith--and hope too. Thanks for the explanation at the end. I learned something new. Thank you also for your kind comment. Karen

This is wonderful perspective of faith....that opening line is a stunning description of blind faith, like radar that sees through the fog...indeed it is. Good luck with this one! ~ Carrie
