Blest To Be a Blessing
Blest* to become a blessing by God’s grace
our lives He has reached-out through His mercy.
Now exalting** His name along life race
while thanking His gift of full clemency
we share His love, sealed with peace-fervency.
Let’s waver not in sowing kindness-seed
as grantees of great compassion deed
savouring the Lord’s assured abundance
we pray, from tempting greed, be truly freed
to keep on showing care of Light’s guidance.
*Blest is considered archaic English word, and has become poetic term for "blessed."
**Psalm 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
