Blessed Are the Hungary and Thirsty - Matthew 5: 6
The blessedness of being blessed
coming down from God's blessed son
calling to those gifted by Jesus
their blessing being God's will be done
The Lord looks for a real hunger
which can only come from within
a real desire for the divine effect
finding His righteousness defeating sin
God the true seeker of souls
smiles seeing the thirsty awoke
filled by the holy spirit to the brim
drinking quenching thirst till broke
God's perfect righteousness desired
removes sin from God's piercing eye
plead for redemption on your soul
cleansing it so it would never die
When you have been blessed in Christ
with a righteousness not your own
then satisfaction is your divine reward
blessed are you knowing Jesus is Lord
('Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied'.)
Matthew 5: 6 (ESV)
