Black Sheep
Black Sheep
We four siblings had emotional bond deep.
Haply came an intruder our cousin, most misfit.
All considered him as block headed Black Sheep.
Me being youngest didn’t know how to treat.
I liked him though he was not exact our type.
By complexion he was black, we all were white.
If he be teased, none cared for his tears to wipe.
We were disciplined, he was rude not polite.
We were prompt on social interaction
Sometimes he talked useless, might be by chance!
We didn’t allow him as our companion.
The odd became aloof, maintaining distance.
By nature, he was obstinate arrogant,
ignorant in manners rather rustic raw,
but startled all of us just with his brilliant
results in school erasing his every flaw.
At last we four siblings sailed ship of friendship,
where we cordially invited the Black Sheep.
