Black Ice

The ice was black with a frozen muse Slippery steps through troublesome thoughts Always trying not to fall Desperate for words to release emotions That felt too cold to process Where are the answers when needed? Life brings so many losses Including failures I must learn to accept When the black ice cracked I thought I would drown in my words Instead, a creation became a success Heidi Sands 3/25/22

Black ice cracked and the muse was freed--clever metaphor, Heidi. I hear its voice.

Hi Sotto. Yes, life certainly does. I have lost many, but I did lose a loving pet I had for 14 years recently and I have certainly had my failures. I wish you the best. I am happy you enjoyed this and thank you for your visit and feedback! I hope all is well.
