I love black cats and have had a few,
had one once with rare eyes of blue !
They have short or long velvety fur,
and sometimes will run around in a blur !
Black cats are friendly, loyal and loving,
enjoy cuddles and kisses and brushing !
They are smart and remember things,
very affectionate and to you often clings !
Aware, perceptive, playful and very calm,
in time their dedication for you will overwhelm !
I think myths and superstitions are silly,
my favorite black cat ever I named Day Lily !
