Bitter Ash

The fire inside burns cold, consumed to bitter ash soul tokens of a love gone wrong. We said it was forever; never would we say good-bye but the eager fever died with time. Dry white the coal that was my heart; old passions won't rekindle. Copyright, November 12, 2017
