Birds Thrive In the Sunlight

Bluebirds thrive in sunshine, the wallystompers said. I rolled my hazel eyes to the back of my head. Cardinals like it too tweeted a bird, more pink than red. That’s a male cardinal said a goldfinch. We call him Fred. Many of our songbirds have flown down to Club Med. To seek even more sunlight, said my weird cousin Ned. He does not fly very well, drops down sometimes like lead. He cannot help it, he is a penguin someone else said.
