summer trees singing
for within branches hide birds ~
               green leaves sheltering

from the green they glide
spreading pretty summer wings ~
               gathering nest twigs

What a beautiful picture and poem, birds are amazing, the nest they build are amazing so closely woven together, and the ones under bridges made of clay substance, always leaves me pondering how this is possible: ). Surely science has a reason but who told the birds lol : )
