Apparently so, Lindsay. I've heard it said that the gold isn't even there, that it's stored in a more highly-secure place. But, I do know you can't get close to the vault at Ft. Knox. Oh well...would be fodder for a fantastic movie.

Yes it is. Ft. Knox is almost impenetrable; must be lots of gold stored in the vaults.
