Big Bang Theory, Really

In the holy scriptures of God's truth Genesis tells of God's first act He created the heavens and the earth in faith, I believe this as fact Look at all the works of God all the beautiful creatures abroad full of colours beautifully bright both large and small a lovely sight Gaze your eyes upon nature's wonders the wonderful hills and mountains above see the scenery so beautifully splendid who could do all this but God of love Do you really think this actually happened? all by a big bang brought this about come on, think seriously for a moment this world must have a creator, not a doubt Big bang theory! really! Genesis 1, in the beginning, God both can't be right, really can they? one is authentically true, one's a fraud

I posted a poem June 6th 2016 titled Tell Me. It deals with this topic and a conversation with a believer and non believer. You might enjoy it.

I think it takes a great deal of misguided faith to think that something could come from nothing. For me it is much easier to believe God Created all that is seeable and unseeable. The design is far to articulate to have come about by time and chance. The more I look at science the stronger my belief in God. All signs point in His direction.

I have no doubt that our Father provided this beautiful world for us, Gordon. Science and creationism can work hand-in-hand. Nuns used to explain that one day for God may be thousands of years for us. I admire your faith and love your poem! Best wishes, carolyn

To believe you need facts and facts require data. Everything that you mentioned can be explained by science. The Earth is just a tiny planet in a tiny solar system. If the Earth and the solar system disappears today, nothing will happen to the universe. Looking at the universe in the form of human-centric is unwise. There are more than eight thousand different religions and faith on Earth each one believes that they are correct. Compare Christianity with Mithraism, read about pantheism.

I'm with you Gordon, we didn't fall out of the trees and start walking about. How come earth has everything to sustain life, And this big bang, did it suddenly appear, almost comical to listen to people talk about that. Many scientists when stumped for a definate answer state that creation must have had miraculous help, Hope you're well. Tom

Hi Tom, Glad you liked it and agreed with my sentiments. It does make you laugh at how many so called experts try to work their way out from the evidence. We are well here, just waiting for the frozen winter to come and go, Blessings,Gordon

i love this Gordon... no way things just appeared out of nowhere... the little ones on my bus were just having a similar conversation and of course asked my input since we aren't allowed to preach religion, i simply told them i believe in God and Jesus, and not all do, some believe in none (like the one kid on the bus) some believe in both, and some believe in only one and we cannot tell another they are right or wrong for their beliefs~ hugs

one never knows what will come out of the mouths of little ones... these kids were 7-9 years old and one little boy was a mountain of religious knowledge...

Hi Sandy, So glad you loved it and are in agreement with my thoughts. An interesting bus ride indeed, do you usually get that level of conversation on your bus? We wouldn't know about that when we were kids, least not over here. Hugs and blessings,Gordon

I like your message here. When people talk about the big bang theory I tell them this. God snapped his fingers and low and behold a big bang. I like your poem
