Big Bang

Your theory makes quite the impression But I have this nagging obsession A huge mass of matter Explodes in a scatter This is a layman's 'dumb' question From whence came this gigantic ball? Just how did the whole thing befall? What was there before that? And before even that? And so on and so forth, Blank space, only vacuum you say? Endless void? Flat nothing? Okay Is nothing just nothing, Or ain't nothing something And what made the nothing I pray?

A semi-serious poem in a comic form? Like Sandra's poem you transformed the limerick form. It made me scratch my head (figuretively), but I had to place it at the top!

Wonderfully expressed, Tim. Your words speak what I think about all the can one fathom the nothingness of endless space ...and where did that 'big bang' ball come from. For me, affirmation that God does exist! Congratulations on your win. Sandra

It's all just a question of thought/ In how the cosmos was wrought/ It's half anti-matter/ In the mass of the scatter/ When you add it all up you get naught

just had to check a limerick on my way out. I need to see your old limericks one day too. Wow, this is really good. I think besides choka, your forte is in humorous poetry too. Do you watch Big Bang theory? This is fun like that show!!
