Beyond the Rainbow
Rain drizzled softly beneath the rainbow.
With colours that shone so bright
Birds flew high above the arc
A mild zephyr blew so lightly.
How could I not admire the rainbow?
Shimmering silvery on clouds low.
From red, to yellow and onto violet
All colors twinkling in a magnificent tableau.
Silence spread, a hush, bright hues
Dreams spiced through watery drips
As colorful fairies flew hither and thither,
Till they disappeared in total eclipse.
