Beyond the Pain
Beyond the pain in today's society,
There is abundant peace of prosperity
Let me explain my hardship in detail
Wait, let the ships of serenity sincerely sail
I was conditioned to believe in your lies
I can see it in your eyes, the hidden cries
Temporary affection will become oh so serpentine
To my shattered heart; breathless, but I’ll be fine
The end is almost near, my dear friend
Cope with hope that is around the bend
Don't have a trace of fear, for happiness will find us instead
Wash your feet with soap and rinse away the dread
I was deceived long ago, I noticed recently
You sink in wallowing woe, an unbearable sea
Your words are dry and barren like a desert
Sun beats down on me constantly and it does hurt
Sweat trickles down my face and legs like no tomorrow
I bet you and I could make it alive, God will surely know
Accidentally, I was led astray by lament and distractions
Your words won’t chase to the cut, only authentic actions
Your lies left me uneasy in this road of painstaking regret
I can see it, devouring the truth and embracing an evil outlet
Temporary vitality and courage shall soon see us through,
Building us up in truly elevating encouragement...you haven't a clue, who knew
Well, if only…you vanish away your avarice-like, callous way of living
There’s no need to cease from moving on; His strength is forever giving
Follow me and my footsteps to the abstract abyss that leads to a slit of delightful light
God is very merciful and reveals promises that our ashamed hearts will joyously ignite
Listen and receive pure Knowledge
Don’t turn the opposite direction
Our glory is graciously on the edge
So, get lost, serpentine affection
