Listen to poem:
Rose gardens buried beneath the snow,
dormant, forgotten, still and cold.
Shattered hope for restless young and old,
they wait for a Spring that may never come.
Bitter tears in anchored fears,
the world’s a cruel and lonely place.
Loved ones vanish without a trace,
somewhere beyond rose gardens.
Hearts that long to find their mate
so in a twosome beat as one.
Remember battles lost and won
and other dreams worth their journey.
