Virtual concepts produced by the mind,
Potent thoughts that we can find,
Brisk and tempting, lurking near,
Exploding with each passing year.
Time and limits are what we must face.
Clouds of doubt, we strain to chase,
But our minds can abide us afar.
Beyond reality, as a shooting star.
We dream of the impossible.
Of worlds beyond what's plausible,
And though some may call it madness,
Our imagination brings us gladness.
For it is in these flights of fancy,
That we find our truest empathy,
And though it may seem fleeting,
It is our hearts that retain us beating.
So let us not be bound by reason.
In doing so, we lose our season.
Let us soar beyond the mundane.
And find our truth in the insane.
