Beyond An Action
What is beyond an action
that it develops traction
to spread its just-effect
in subtle ways we cannot detect .....
Be the action born from a moment
or spun from an incident,
time does take it as consent
to later unfold it duly spent
in same fashion as it was first lent .....
Thus we reap acts and words strangers sow
as they form futures others will know -
it was behaviors now gone and past
that produced our current now as cast .....
