Between the Whispers and the Sighs, Revised

Between the whispers and the sighs (short version) The sweet taste of champagne, still lingers on her lips The fragrance of jasmine oil, slides from her fingertips A mystic instigation, your skin against my skin Breathless anticipation, for loving to begin Chorus Between the whispers and the sighs I can read between the lines, Between the whispers and the sighs I sense our love is right on track, and there's no going back Trapped inside the vertigo, as lovers rise and fall Dizzy desire's the answer, whenever romance calls. There's a solemn silence, no whispering of words After love's expression, only heartbeats are heard Chorus Between the whispers and the sighs, I can read between the lines, Between the whispers and the sighs, I sense our love is right on track, and there's no going back Chorus Repeat The sweet taste of champagne... still... lingers... on... her... lips. John, a very enjoyable lyric of romance. I love how you use the five senses to bring the reader into the frame and sense the heightening of emotions. I really liked the vertigo/dizzy stanza... love does crazy things to the senses! Also the reading between the lines of whispers and sighs; that makes for a great refrain. I wish you all the best as you bring these wonderful lyrics to fruition in song ~ John

Thanks Mark I know how much you love music and lyrics, I've found a couple of producers/composers and have 6 songs completed, 2 more being worked on now.
