Better Watch It, Fellow
Better Watch It Fellow
By Elton Camp
Arnold, in his house, thinks he’s a king
Respect for his wife doesn’t mean a thing
In his eyes, nothing that she does is right
The way he condemns and orders is a fright
If Arnie’s supper isn’t ready exactly on time
He’ll curse and call her a lazy ball of slime
If, in the house, he finds just a speck of dust
It’s, “To lay and sleep all day you surely must.”
His wife has put up with his ways many a year
So Arnie has decided that he has naught to fear
He seems to think that it makes him a big man
To demean, abuse and insult her all that he can
Beatrice got enough of it and to act she did dare
Arnie slept and she damaged him beyond repair
