Betrayal Made Me Wise
BETRAYAL MADE ME WISE
On the threshold of the destiny
in the gleam of the rising sun
my lone life had promised me
it’ll take me across the ocean
to the land of my dream where
I’ll glitter after the twilight hours
in cerulean glow of crystal stars.
This didn’t ever materialize
for life didn’t keep its promise,
from ruin of fallen sky I couldn’t rise.
In promised land before I could be
the fall of the final night has begun.
Path of the last journey I see clear,
life’s betrayal has made me so wise.
