Beside Still Waters - Thomas Kinkade

let me find let me stay in this wonderful hideaway where the murmur of waters rushing gently is ablaze with flowers hued differently and the scene bathed in a silvery light a vision of Eden unspoiled and bright the mystery and wonder of God's creation the rich variety of nature's formation where I am fed where I am led beside waters calm where peace is a balm He restores my soul and makes me whole I feel refreshed and totally blessed beside waters still God shows me His will

Ahh Joanna, can I sit for awhile and dangle my burning feet in the refreshing of your words? Echoes of my favourite Psalm; never dusty or over-used, you capture the essence so beautifully. Deserving of an accolade. Blessings S:) x

Such a sweet reverent poem for POTD. Faith is on the wane globally, but not for all

Dear Joanna, your poem curls around me and my heart in a few different ways. I am reminded of the ' Garden of Eden ' while reading your words. The beauty within is beyond breathtaking. This reads like the 23 Psalm. The first part of verse 6 is very comforting, indeed. ' Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. ' Your thoughts are so soothing. Congratulations my sweet friend, on Poem of the Day. My best to you. :) Hugs, Brandy

JOANNA - I have tried for years to pen exactly why I wanted to live inside one of his paintings when 1st I saw one in one of his galleries, but couldn't. Now, you have done it for me. My sister could barely get me out of the gallery. Just 3 days ago, I read that Kinkade had peed on Winney the Pooh at Disney Land which is neither here nor there, but for some reason I felt the need to share. I did not know he had died. GREAT job that delivered my own feel to me. Be blessed ... CayCay

Besides his still waters we find the rest we so much need, away from this world away from greed, it is there that he plants his seed, of love :)
