God created me to be
The woman who I believe
Desires for you to see
Love from the depths of her heart
God made me to be
Someone who is alive with dreams
Someone who faces the ugly debris
And is thankful for the many blessings I see
God made me to be
Full of light that shines through the darkness
Coloring life in hues so carefree
Lifting minds from their quiet distractions
God made me to be
The woman who is alive with hope
Someone who knows God is three
And answers in psalms that encourage
God made me to be
A friend to those in need
A soul who falls on the knee
With faith to shine through the dread
God made me to be
A reflection of His face
Someone who will agree
With the love He sends in grace
Be Yourself – everyone else is already taken
Is the answer I will esteem
As the reason I know I’m not forsaken
I’m the child God meant for me to be
