Before You
Before you, I couldn't See
I was blinded from the beauty within me
Hidden from a gift within
Even
The compassion in my heart, deep down inside
Before you, I was only a half a whole
An empty shell without a soul
Before you, Life wasn't complete
Having no meaning
Before you, I had no purpose of my own
Waking each day, waiting for another
Trying to discover herself not knowing what to search for
Till you were at my door
Then, there was you and
My life suddenly was Anew.
