Before This Night Is Through

Beneath that frame you wear so well, are you a sinner or a saint with that simmering of lust I smell although you show restraint? You want me; soon you’ll show how much! The hunger is in your eyes. I feel it in your tender touch I hear it in your sighs. You can’t survive my full assault. You’re losing your facade. It’s coming down; it’s not my fault! You’ll see you’ve been a fraud. For underneath your skin, you burn. Soon you will be mine. Before this night is through, you’ll learn, Burning is divine! There's a song in Urdu: "Jab tak yeh raat gujrangi, tab talak asli chera samne aayenga." (By the time this night is through, your true face will emerge.) I like the way you presented this.

Always wonder why desires always have to be burning. Just met your friend ZenBruce515 on line. He is quite a guy and could not pass by. Read some of my new poems. God can see through any façade or acts of fraud. Jim Horn
