Rhyme, ( Allow Truth and Light to gift their golden treasures)

Note: This was rewritten from memory of a poem that was among
the hundreds that were stolen from me and burned many decades ago.
The title and some verses came to me but the rest are new.
I am surprised that this poem came to me this morn as if it demanded
that I address its premature demise those many years ago.

Before The New Rising Sun Before the new rising sun, After night begins its slow fade, Consider what needs to be done: Inside this world man has made Where so many live and die, As slaves to blinded greed, While so few ask the why The millions so hurt and bleed. Before the loud cock crows, After its morning call echoes, Consider to let Love grow: Inside and outward as it shows Walk the path that so redeems, Softer heart and human soul, Abandon world's greedy schemes As such dark takes heavy tolls. Before that red sun sets, After sweet youth fades away, Consider what faith begets: Inside the spirit each day Enjoy peace that so inspires, The treasures of Life and Love, That kindles deep flaming fires Born from Light from far above. Thank you my friend. The constant darkness in this world is a curse that so many rarely consider as they race through life. Pains and sorrows born from that willful blindness are in the trillions. A poet should think it worthy to pen verses on.

This one is an excellent write, great use of images in this piece...it needed to be shared, i too have had poetry burned from my younger days...you may not be able to get them back, but to redo them from memory is almost as good...

Thank you my friend. I am sorry to find that you too have had such a dastardly blow inflicted upon your heart, mind and soul as to have found out that your poems were burned. As such a blow is truly a very deep and heartfelt cut. God bless...

These words of the poet and the teacher are beautiful inside and outward. A good example that the true poetry can't be stolen or burned. P.S.: Hi, Robert, long time no see)
