Before I Kick the Bucket -Edited

I never really made a bucket list, but I guess I kind of did it when I had one thing I wished for – which was to be kissed. That one got kicked off by a gorgeous lad! I also wished the world I’d get to see, for I was more adventurous when young. Beloved Spain I wished especially to visit, practicing its native tongue. To kick it off my list I got to do! And as a bonus, I saw many more great countries; then I married. That one too got kicked off with two kids for me in store! Before I kick that bucket and am dead, I wish to die (with no pain) and in my bed! Nov. 14, 2020 for Chantelle Anne Cooke's What Have You Kicked Off On Your Bucket List Poetry Contest

I would love to see Spain again, but I highly doubt that will happen. I can barely find time or money to visit family in Iowa!

WoW! Andrea, If I had a bucket list, yours would do. Let's see, you kissed a hot boy( in youth). Traveled the country, fell in love, got married and had kids. Your last two lines, is probably common on a( bucket) list. Excellent job. Best wishes in the contest. Congratulations on getting the poem of day:-)Alexis
