Before I Go

Before I go to the heavens, I must cry; Before I go to heaven, I must cry; Lord before I go to heaven, I must cry; Family, before I go, before I die we must cry; Family, when I'm horizontal in the coffin don't you cry; For being birth into this world is when you should shed those tears; Now that I'm gone, die you should celebrate with Joy, laugher, dancing and praising and thank God the Father for raising (me) Father before I see your face Through amazing grace I stand at the altar Oh, Father I wonder Before I go to the heavens, I must cry; Before I go to heaven, I must cry; Lord before I go to heaven, I must cry; Oh!! Father could you please wait; Before you take me from this Deeds are not done, please redeem the time Lord, God Before I go to the heavens, I must cry; Before I go to heaven, I must cry; Lord before I go to heaven, I must cry; Written words & Arranged music by James Edward Lee 08/11/17

A very spiritual poem, James. Excellent words of confessions about our sinful nature. A somber poem that touches the heart. Love and joy, my friend.
