Befall

Need to make a change
see it written on the wall
Can't let this fade Away
One spherical ball
Haze seen from space
the gray Amazon smog
Thousand's of acres each day
and their burning it all
Things need to change
Dark Days Befall.

The Species and Trees
Constantly recede
Nothing is excluded
By government Decree.

What of the waters
once purely pristine
Now poison and polluted
Clear Corporate Greed.

Resources Squandered
scorched in the sun
Dark Days Befall
with nowhere to run.

Things need to change
Time to make the call
Can't let this Fade away
Dark Days Befall.
