Bees
A flower's scent is on the breeze
Their seductive fragrance is soon appeased
By kisses from honeybees
They carry pollen to and fro
Finding nectar as they go
Making fruits and flowers grow
Hear them buzz as they fly
Their sweet honey in hives nearby
As they navigate neath an azure sky
A toxin in their sting
Can prevent illness that a virus brings
They generate heat with waves of their wings
Queens wear the crown not kings
They use their antenna to measure flight speed
And detect smells of the flowers they need
They are amazing insects indeed!
