Beer and Alcohol

Have never been attracted to beer or alcohol Guess I'm one of a real minority If I had to choose though it'd be gin and tonic Gin and tonic would be my choice As far as beer is concerned they're all the same Beer is beer no matter who makes it Now I assume some would challenge me here Or is it just a matter of availability Whiskey is a horse of a very different colour An uncle drank it straight he did It would curl MY hair and stiffen MY parts Pass out for a couple of hours

Now here's where we differ my dear friend Happy Jack..... whiskey should never have its flavor watered down with even melted ice ! ... That should be illegal....However Baileys would be nice,... But ya can't beat Chivas Regal !.... Love your poem !

Ugh, no whiskey for me! This Kentuckian says they can have their Bourbon. I'll take half-and-half iced tea. Oh, I'm no teetotaler. When I want a drink, I have one...generally a gin and tonic or a vodka martini. "Never tipple til you topple" is my motto! You go, Tom!~
