Becoming

Your Divine Spirit is an open book of spontaneous reference. I have met people who seldom read the bible...yet, most every word they speak and action they take, is Biblically correct. Am I saying, no need to read the bible? Absolutely not -- if a sense of emptiness, loneliness, dissatisfied existence, read, devour, savor! With ultimate goal of becoming.... I agree totally; each new day is a form of renewal. The Sun’s rays host for cleansing. Everyone of us, can be new in Christ with the advent of Refreshing Dawn. My differences in understanding, with some Christian Philosophical principals are, I do not believe in eternal Hell-fires for any man. I do not believe anyone should come to Christ for fear of damnation. Love is the vehicle. I do not believe that Christ will return (he actually never left, with us eternally) until we return Him, by way of our own spiritual purification. At present time, in the human cycle of evolution, we are nowhere near our Blessed Lord’s perfected return. Thousands of years yet. Such return predicated on total humanity's regeneration, on our own eventual, as a united people, Christ-like personification. Free Will. (These are just my opinions, open for debate. Or just add your own opinion if you like, even those contrary. I am an Authority on nothing.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Second Coming I do not understand the concept of, Christ’s Return: So, if you can, by all means please help me -- As a Christian, speaking to Christians; do you not feel Christ’s living presence about you, inside of you, with you on a daily/nightly basis? Actively sharing you faults and triumphs? He took on our sins, He embodies our joy. No? Yes? Each of us already are recipients of His dear protection and guidance. Oh, I see, His actual return, his liturgical prophesied return then would be the end to all evil manifest in the world, a Judgment of sin and its doers. Why on earth would He do this, when we, as a cooperative humanity already possess the power to make of our earth a living heaven or dreadful Hell? When God puts food on our tables, is it forever His responsibility to tie our bibs and spoon feed us? Oh, I see, we are powerless against the Devil! But when the Devil confronted Christ on the mountain, did Christ fear Himself being pushed from the peak, into the depths of oblivion? The devil only has the power we give him, by way of our negligence, ignorance of truth, or our willing compliance -- Are we sons and daughters of God, or freaks of Chaos, peasants of creation? It has always been our Free Will decision. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Am I Missing Something? Am I missing something, question to those who believe that End Times are near, seeing signs in the heavens, widespread warfare, environmental abuse sucking the very breath of life from the lungs of our earth? "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things (Jesus)...." Besides His immediate Apostles, few in their lifetime achieve such enlightened greatness; humanity at large seems barely approaching such revelation. Should we just overlook some bible Prophesy, discard that which does not conveniently fit one’s heartfelt desire to solve the seeming endless suffering of our world? -- such surrender I believe is obstacle to the development of personal responsibility? It is up to us. Free Will. We have the power already...what we lack is united will.

Thank you, John; yes, love, cooperation, unification instead of division. Stop declaring ourselves separate from one another, and walled off from God by proxy of sin.

Everyday is a gift from God and Jesus is present everyday. We just have to find Him.

Have to realize Him, acknowledge our inseparable relationship. Being separated from Him, is only in our minds and hearts. We imagine we need to prove Him, find Him. It is delusional. Christians need to reread Pentecost. Then again grasp the understanding that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are one. "Whoever has seen me, has seen the Father" -- can it more clearly be stated by Christ Himself? Not seeing Him, waiting for His return, depends on our own conscious acceptance. Free Will. His wholesale return, awareness in all minds and hearts, in the full body of time and space manifest outright, would require unification with one another. Our own spiritual unification. Physical substance is a reflection of spiritual revelation. The way I see it.

I agree, Joe. Each day is a form of renewal. I also don't subscribe to traditional religion of hell-fire fate for sinners. Rambling. Your poem was thought provoking. Thanks for sharing, Sara
