Beauty's Vengeance
the thunder cracks over head
the lightning strikes the bay
the storm is in full swing
the wind dances around me
a warm heavy rain cascades on the ground
lightning strikes twenty feet away
turning to flee turning back around
moving forward as lighting strikes the ground
this night this storm is to good to miss
the heart races with the roar of the clouds
energy pulsing though the air
with in this chaos there is a calm
still it not what i'm here to see
