Beauty of Night
It is when the night is at its darkest hour
That I open the door of my memories
And walk back into the arms
Of the one who saved me!
In there, we bury into each other's essence
So harshly
That time, duties, constraints
And the reason for which we could not
Be together,
Get turned into poems written for the
Cause of love and romance
As it has never been contemplated
On Earth!
It is when the night is at its darkest hour
That our bodies sing of pure love,
And our hearts dance in ecstatic thrills
Bidding the moon to shine at its fullest
Even if it is at rest!
The night whispers to us both
To be patient
That fate has been sculpted and shaped
To fulfil our yearnings
But that shall be for when
My candle shall get blown out
By the winds of age and ailment
And that shall be the time at which
I shall be taken to the door leading
To where mysticism shines at its best
And love, ringing with its emblem,
Burns for it shall have a sacred cause!
