Beautiful Illusion

As I glanced upon the full moon Appeared as the sun was within her in swoon As she was brightly gleaming Beautiful orb surrounded her and appeared as sun rays beaming There was a brisk chill in the air Still it was too mesmerizing to walk away and not stare Silence filled the dead of the night Warmed my soul all aglow so bright As they appeared together as one For a moment troubles melted and worries I had none As they appeared to be romancing My heart couldn't contain itself from dancing My feet started moving but it didn't stop there Soon it appeared I was dancing on air The sun for his moon did serenade Then most graceful of duets together they played Stars twinkled among the clouds with all their glory It was the sun and moon who were the stars of this love story Such a captivating beautiful illusion Lost in a trance for my mind was a beautiful intrusion
