This shape poem is supposed to be a flower about to bud; was hoping to create a daffodil bud. Not sure if I accomplished either. Perhaps 'Shape' poems are not my forte. Oh, well. Hope you enjoy the poem anyway.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
spring
temperature warm
after snow fades away
color returns, grey dissipates
yellow daffodils emerge within grass
leaves on trees have begun to grow back
bees buzz contently, their tummies packed
pollen is plentiful, extracted from antlers
animals, insects, attracted to aromas
vanilla, sweets, whiffs from stomas
hummingbirds fee from the azaleas
with the wind, the flowers wave
their petals sway
the beauty of nature
is portrayed
spring entails
beautiful days
