Beautiful Day Inside My Heart

It's a beautiful day inside my heart
The medicine of love has healed my wounds
Where hostility used to be entombed
I've been blessed with a chance for a new start
There will always be pain but not as sharp
Just like a new babe brought forth from the womb
There's a rainbow of love helping it bloom
Compassion and mercy it will impart
New friends pop up ev'rywhere like flowers
Beaming bright smiles on their happy faces
Expressing their love for one another
Togetherness and peace holds the power
Love's sunshine has filled all the dark spaces
And emotes a feeling like no other
