Beautiful Beacon's Rays
B-eautiful beacon's rays
E-rase the Thursday night;
R-ising above the horizon,
N-ever minding the twilight.
E-arly Friday morning,
R-aindrop is nowhere in view;
A-s you wake from slumber, the skyline is blue.
A-fter the dusk is gone,
L-et the new dawn break;
T-hirtieth December
E-liminates the heartache.
R-ays of the beautiful beacon
A-im to make you fine;
D-on't let the chill remain,
O-r else the sun won't shine.
