Beams
I the darkness of a storm I was running, searching for a place to hide.At the entrance to
my soon to be self imposed prison i turned to lend a hand to a friend, possibly a last
effort to be remembered. now I am motionless,being penetrated by a beam. It burns a hole
in my mind and hope slowly builds up in my heart. it is her light, coming from a power
inside.
Her eyes burn a hole in my mind and Her love leaves logic behind
With the strength of a power inside, on the wings of freedom she glides.
Drifting in a cloud of love,till the dawning of the light;
Praying that it never ends by holding on so tight
The clock that's ticking on the wall has no measure of our time.
It happened in a heart beat but is forever in our minds.
To me she's almost perfect, save one simple piece;
That She is standing next to me; the day my heart's released.
