Beach Maiden

A fair maid took a stroll on the beach,
In the moonlight while eating a peach.
        Afraid the juice dripping down
        Might soil her gown,
She doffed it and juice ran down each.

Andrea, I enjoyed writing it for sure. Jan had inspired me with the beach scene she described in "I See the Moon".

I don't know if I'd try to eat a peach at the beach, but I love the imagery here, Ken (btw, going by your avatar, I assume you're a past/current Washington Huskie, or a fan?)
