Be Sure To Save
Be Sure to Save
Why should you want to sit there and stare?
Writing poetry is my form of saying a prayer;
Expressing my feelings that can come to be
When in my poems, God you start to see.
God gave us a gift of His great love;
Of all else, what we should all do above
Is to love while you will warmly accept
Us simple people who are always so inept.
In God's eyes we are all a tiny, mere dot
And with it nothing ever could be bought;
Why should to complain to God the Father?
Make trouble for Him and continually bother.
God, Himself, is only one who always knows
While we wonder and seem to suppose
And to take for granted and also do in vain;
It is only God who can bare our strain.
God take me as troubled as I am now;
You will always help me to get by somehow
Into hereafter will go after here having been;
Oh, and be sure to save us from all sin.
