Watch the waves as they rise and fall Ephemeral fear and desire Both thoughts that appeal and appall Endless are objects, we aspire In midst of chaos, where lies peace Watch the waves as they rise and fall Decrypting the code, piece by piece Thought flow din drives us up the wall Joy foiled by memory recall Wish to be still but don't know how Watch the waves as they rise and fall Surrender and let God endow On choosing to entwine with God Our heart's engulfed by a bliss squall As rapture heightens, we are awed Watch the waves as they rise and fall 05-November-2022
