Be Mindful

Perfection is so overrated They love you today while yesterday you were being hated Perfect from outside looking in While behind closed-door razor rips through the skin Next thing you know, perfection is missing All is left is the harsh criticism Judge not, you might hurt someone’s feeling And that someone may just stop believing All the dreams and aspirations that was in clear view Are now ashes and smoke but if only you knew Pain comes easy from bruises and blisters But it hurt more from the words that you whisper When you part those lips and the words are free You cannott take them back before they get to me
