Battling Addiction

We seem to have a problem and it's spreading all around. It's a present day dilemma, that's destroying our children's lives. If you don't know what this is - This dilemma is called DRUGS. If you don't know about DRUGS - it's time that you found out. Get your head out of the sand and start looking all around. Any drug can be a killer, but they don't advertise. If you take it just once - you might be HOOKED for life, or maybe worst - you may even lose your life. You have to know about DRUGS, learn everything you can - just don't ever take them, or a slave you'll be to them. If we can fight this problem, we can have a better world. Than maybe some of our children won't lose their lives so young...

A wise warning, Lucilla: The so called 'harmless drug' marijuana, has been so hybridized it is now far stronger than it was 20 years ago. People think of it as something that can't hurt but- it is a harmless snake turned venemous. Hugs SuZ

Luckily I have a pretty good memory and just realized that I forgot to say, that this is a wonderful examination of a lingering problem. Great work here.

Hola, mucho gusto. No I had never read your poems. I just happened to be looking through the top 100 popular poems of current and saw the spanish title. I decided to read. As far as your spanish poems, you should post them. They can't be used in contest, but they can be posted here. I have not yet written one in spanish. I have translated one of my friend ones, and I think Octavio Paz is my third favorite poet of all time. Gracias por tu commento, que tengas un dia excelente.

Children often learn from their parents. This is a good way to tell us about the dangers of drug addiction.

This is such a truthful write, one that many people should pay attention too! It's very critical that we all avoid drugs whenever possible, and take prescription drugs only when needed! You have written a fantastic poem my friend! What an amazing piece, Great Work!!
