Bathed Like a Rose
D-ecember thirtieth morn breaks,
E-arly beautiful Friday;
L-ight from up above
I-s taking the night
A-way.
P-ouring rain and chill
A-re nowhere to be found;
L-et the rise of the beacon
M-ake you safe and sound.
O-pen your heart and mind,
N-ever let them close;
E-xpect the warmth to enter,
S-o you'll be bathed like a rose.
