Bathe Away Your Dread
You need not worry, for I am here to bathe away your dread,
cleanse you and soak in nurturing lather to give you hope-
You feel defeated, I shall bestow unto you a smile instead,
and in my arms I shall release your woe, help you cope.
I know you feel thwarted falling down that slippery slope,
but I shall remind you of all the love you need to help heal.
It’s time for bed, allow me to gently rub your weary head.
My love, embrace me and sense my love for you is real.
I shall take your wounds and mend with a tender thread.
