Barred Sky

In the pall of cigarette smoke he cursed everyone as he spoke. Frightened guests and touchy gamblers called the cops after the bouncers. Handcuffed, he peered out the window, sirens wail, tires screeching to go. Through one swollen, unseeing eye, watched the night sceneries flash by. Now sober fingers of sunbeam slowly limn his morning daydream. But the moisture in his eyes mars his view of the sky through jail bars!
