Barn Dust

Old and worn, with its weathered graying wood The old barn whispered softly to my heart Reminding me light poured through as it should Dust particles, graceful, dancing like art Silent as dawn with sunshine rays to start The feeling grew within, warm on the soul Breathing music in notes, hope to console Like a flame of vibrant hues, pure splendor Passions swaying, a waltz you can’t control Emotions stirred, sighs - blushes so tender D Forms - Dizain- Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Constance La France February 2, 2022 Chosen word for theme is DUST

Gina, your poem reminds me of growing up and an old barn I use to play in as a child. Thanks for stoking my memories my friend, Emile.
